‘Holst, Gregynog and some English-Welsh connections’
Alan Gibbs has made a special study of Gustav Holst, editing the late A. E. F. Dickinson’s survey of the composer’s music and publishing his own book Holst Among Friends. A composer himself, Alan considers Holst’s choral works and folksong arrangements for the Gregynog Choir, some of which will be heard in today’s performances.
